This site is intended to serve as a repository for images and documents relating to the famed 19th century atheist, Robert G. Ingersoll. This includes photographs, drawings, his unpublished letters and notes, newspaper articles and other miscellany of (perhaps little) interest.

Please email me if you have any questions or comments, or if you have access to material that you think should be added to the site.

To the best of my knowledge, every image on this site is in the public domain, excluding images that I created myself for this Website. If you use an image from this site (particularly one of the documents) anywhere, I would be grateful if you could email me to let me know.

Concerning file formats: Where appropriate, images are provided as very high resolution TIF files, and smaller JPEG files. Note that the JPEG files are still rather large. The TIF files will only be useful for artists, designers, or people that wish to publish the images in print. If you simply wish to use an image on your Website, the JPEG files will more than suffice. NOTE: TIF filesizes given are those of the RAR compressed file - uncompressed sizes are approximately double!
